That looks like a lot of great books. "Creative Illustration" looks tempting.

The problem with choosing a favorite book is that it can change from month to month, week by week and day by day. Especially when you have a large selection of books, so I know what you mean.

Love your selections. I'm a big Max Lucado fan - they find the finest illustrators for his children's books! And I love the book with the sweet little children (illustrator is Jane somebody...??) Bible too...hurray!

Hi Amy,

What a great collection you have! I find the one with the marionette (or how does one call them?) in the bottom left very intriguing. Great illustration as far as I can see. I wonder what the story is about and what the illustrations in it look like...so neat!

Hey,
Thanks for the comments!
Bee'nme, The Bible is my favorite book. This one is my small one that fits in my purse. I Love this Max Lucado book. If you don't have it...buy it.
Wynlen and Isay, the Creative Illustration is dear to my heart, since my illustration teacher, Rob Howard, gave it to me years back, and autographed it with an encouraging comment about my art. It was out of print even then. It's a classic for illustrators and is stuffed with gems of advice for all areas of art and illustrating.
Tine, the book you mentioned is by Max Lucado and is called "You Are Special". It is my favorite Picture Book. It's the kind of book you want to eat and soak in, so that it becomes part of you....and seeps through in everything you do. I'd love to have the talent in writing and illos that is in the book too.
The message is one that all kids (and adults) need to hear.
The art is also brilliant. I am planning on buying it for gifts for many kids and adults. I've had it for at least 2 years, but need to start giving it as gifts.
