Research Finds

While doing research for Victorian themed items, I came across some fantastic finds. Here is a worthy site called Virtual Victorians. There are downloadable victorian printables as well as lots of great images and links.
Another one is the artist Gennady Spirin, whose illustrations are delightfully detailed and gorgeous. Take a look at this picture book that he illustrated. He's one of my favorites.
It's inspiring and challenging to look at the work of gifted artists like Spirin when working on a project, but it sure does push me on to work harder.
