Don't cha just hate it when......

You check your art website and find that someone has been on it for 16-20 minutes, and they are viewing your art from: Malaysia, China, India, and other far off lands where copyrights cannot be enforced?
Sorry...I had to vent. It happens to me often, and I know what is most likely going on. Anyone else with that gripe?

It is rather more common than not, Amy. Isn't it a shame. Some artists have even found DVDs with their work as part of an "art for sale" stock DVD.

There are ways to embed watermarks and logos into your work, but many of us just fail to do so.

Hmm. Well, I'm from India. And I come in peace. :) I think its a problem all illustrators/designers with online portfolios face no matter which part of the world they're in. Like Ginger says above, we can only protect ourselves as best we can with watermarks, copyright messages etc. and hope for the best.

Cheers,
Radha
