This work reminded me of an image I received in my email the day after 9/11. An artist had created a scene using the ruins of the WTC with an angel carrying a victim upward to the heavens through the clouds and smoke. The scene was put together with photos and art. A peace seemed to envelope the scene. It was so touching, but I was only able to view the imae for a short time as the artist planned a huge painting and would not keep the site online or let anyone share it. I don't know if he ever did complete his painting, but the image of that artist that day and the experiences of our family that day were unforgettable.
