Congratulations Meg!

My twin ran the NYC Marathon today and finished with a time that pleased her. She was thrilled to view the fireworks in Central Park last night and revisit old stomping grounds from college days at FIT...but most of all to run the race and finish with a time close to her goal. (running just part of it and walking it would have been a huge thing for me!)
Huge congratulations Meg! Wish I could have been there to cheer you on!

Please pass my congratulations on to MEG!!!!! I am such a fan of the NY Marathon, and this year couldn't view it as we don't get the live broadcast up here where we now live.

In the past two of my Sunday School Teaching buddies have run the race, and just talking to them about the whole weekend was a thrill.... but what a toll it takes on your body and what a lot of work it takes to get ready.

I applaud anyone who tries, finishes, or just makes the first mile!

Ginger,
Thanks so much. She did very well and had so much fun. There were at least 37,000 runners there! I'll pass your congratulations on to her.

Sherry,
I don't think she had anyone there to take pics, but she was thrilled to get a medal and her shiny silver warm-up blanket at the end. She said she scoured the crowd for Lance Armstrong, but didn't see him. He made the race in 2hours and 59min! Can you imagine?
